Covid - 19

Lectures:   Lectures of the winter semester 2021/22 started as usual, that means contact classes from the 20th September 2021. However, we have to respect current government regulations. If contact classes are forbidden by the government decision, we will have to switch to online classes

Physical arrival: exchange students are supposed to come to Pilsen around 12th September 2021 (if the isolation is required for some countries, those students will be required to come earlier to be able to finish their isolation before the beginning of classes)

Accommodation at the dormitories: most probably (will be specified in September), the students will be required to prove:
- full vaccination (at least 14 days after the second dose)
- negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours) or antigen test (not older than 48 hours)
- that they have suffered from Covid-19 in the last 180 days

Covid tests / vaccination: we recommend to all incoming exchange students to be fully vaccinated (finished vaccination process) before coming to Pilsen. Otherwise, you might be required to show negative Covid test each time you enter the university campus, the dormitory, maybe even restaurants, cinemas etc. according to valid government regulations. The price of PCR test is around 1000,-CZK / antigen test around 500,-CZK (exchange students are always self-payers!!!)

Exchange students are regularly informed about updated rules by email from the exchange students´coordinator - Eva Kotoučová.
